| The Defense Prisoner of War/Missing Personnel Office (DPMO) and US Media Services recently completed a documentary video entitled Recovery and Accounting for America’s Missing Servicemembers. DPMO’s mission is to establish
policies and oversee the worldwide efforts to account for missing American soldiers. In addition DPMO establishes policies, which seek to ensure that the most effective means are in place worldwide to rescue and bring isolated personnel home, alive. The 33-minute
program follows recovery missions in Southeast Asia, North Korea, and Papua New Guinea, as DPMO field agencies locate, identify, and return home the remains of service members, and ensure they are properly laid to rest with full dignity and military honors. The DVD
is intended for the general population interested in POW/MIA recovery -- primarily family members, veterans, and comrades of those still missing. Windows Media File
